The Simply Sweet Strawberry Sweet Cream is a red-and-white, dessert-styled dilly made from premium body-safe silicone, 7.8 inches overall with 6.8 insertable, a 1-inch tip widening to 2.2 inches, a suction cup base for hands-free use, and a harness-compatible design. It's firm with some flex, phthalate-free and latex-free, and made for water-based lube. My honest take: it's a novelty on the outside and a serious, well-made toy on the inside, and the size means it's for someone who already knows they want a full-sized dilly.
Strawberry Sweet Cream or Banana Split? Strawberry Sweet Cream is the bigger one: 7.8 inches, up to 2.2 inches wide, a straight shaft that fills. The Banana Split is curved and more approachable: 7.4 inches with a gently curved shaft for internal stimulation. Want girth and a straight shape? Strawberry.
Novelty dillys get dismissed because most of them are made badly. This one isn't. The strawberry-and-cream look is the conversation starter, but the silicone, the base, and the measurements are what you'd want from a plain toy at the same size. Read the numbers before you buy it. They matter more than the color.
What is the Simply Sweet Strawberry Sweet Cream?
It's a premium silicone dilly inspired by strawberries and cream, in red and white. The shape is a realistic-feel shaft with a firm-yet-flexible body, a sturdy suction cup base for hands-free positioning on a smooth flat surface, and a base that also works in most compatible harnesses.
The measurements are the important part: 7.8 inches overall, 6.8 inches insertable, 1 inch at the narrowest insertable point and 2.2 inches at the widest, and 380 grams in the hand. It's made without phthalates or latex, and the PDP says it's best used with water-based lubricant.
What it isn't: it doesn't vibrate, and it isn't a beginner size. It's a full-sized, hands-free-capable dilly with a sense of humor.
What did I love?
Real silicone, real base. Premium body-safe silicone that's non-porous and easy to clean, on a suction cup that actually holds. That's the checklist for any dilly worth owning, novelty or not.
The taper. One inch at the tip, 2.2 at the widest. That's a gradual build, which is what makes a toy this size workable rather than intimidating. You control how much of the 6.8 insertable inches you use.
Hands-free and harness-ready. The suction cup gives you the shower wall or a chair. The harness-compatible base gives a partner the option. One toy, both jobs.
It doesn't look like a toy. On a shelf it reads as a dessert prop. For anyone with roommates, kids in the house, or just a preference for playful over clinical, that's a feature.
Weight. 380 grams has heft. Suction toys that are too light pop off the wall. This one stays.
What should you know before buying?
Check the width against what you already use. 2.2 inches at the widest is a substantial toy. If your current favorite is under 1.5 inches, this is a jump. Take it slow, use more lube than you think, and don't feel obligated to bottom out.
Suction cups need the right surface. Clean, smooth, flat, and non-porous. Tile, glass, a smooth chair seat. Textured walls and wood don't hold. Press the base firmly and check it before you lean on it.
Water-based lube only. This is silicone. Silicone lube will degrade the surface over time, and the PDP says to avoid it.
Store it apart from other silicone. The PDP says to store it separately from other silicone products when possible, dry, cool, and out of direct sunlight. That's exactly what a Toy Tote is for.
Toy care, the right way. This is the part people skip, and it's the part that decides whether a toy lasts a year or a month:
- Lube: water-based only, and a generous amount for a toy this size. Aqua water-based lubricant is my go-to. Not sure what's safe with what? Check my lube and toy compatibility chart.
- Cleaning: a dedicated adult toy cleaner only, like Cleansing Foam adult toy cleaner. No hand soap, dish soap, or antibacterial cleaners. They break down the material and can throw off vaginal pH.
- Breathable storage: one toy per Toy Tote, which is Bioshield 75 lined so toys don't touch, melt, or discolor.
- Locked storage: the small Locking Toy Chest in gold or black, or the large Lockable Adult Toy Chest with two velvet-lined compartments, a carry handle, and a 3-digit combination lock.
How do you use it?
- Wash it first with warm water and adult toy cleaner, even brand new.
- Apply water-based lube generously to the toy and to yourself.
- Hands-free: press the suction cup onto a clean, smooth, flat surface and confirm it's attached before use.
- Harness: insert the base into a compatible harness per the harness instructions. My Packer Harness Boxer Briefs or the Strap-On Harness both take a flared base.
- Start with the tip and let the taper do the work. You decide the depth and the pace.
- Afterward, wash with warm water and toy cleaner, dry completely, and store it in its own tote.
Strawberry Sweet Cream vs Banana Split vs Velvet Tease vs Wild Wild West
Four insertables that hold themselves up, four different ideas.
| Toy | Best for | Key feature | Water |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strawberry Sweet Cream | Full size, non-vibrating, harness or suction | 7.8 in., 6.8 insertable, up to 2.2 in. wide, silicone, suction cup | Water-based lube; rinse and clean |
| Banana Split | A curved, more approachable novelty | 7.4 in., gently curved shaft, silicone, suction cup, harness compatible | Water-based lube; rinse and clean |
| Velvet Tease | Vibration plus suction cup | Ultra-soft silicone, 3 speeds and 5 patterns, 6.3 x 1.5 in. insertable | Submersible to 1 m for 30 min |
| Wild Wild West | Triple stimulation | Cactus-shaped: air pulse, vibrating shaft, mini anal stem, 10 settings each | Shower friendly, do not submerge |
My Velvet Tease review and Wild Wild West review go deeper on those two, and the dilly buying guide explains size, base, and material for anyone starting out.
What's the verdict?
The Strawberry Sweet Cream is a properly made silicone dilly that happens to look like dessert. The suction cup holds, the base fits a harness, and the taper makes a big toy usable. Buy it for the size and the build. The look is the bonus.
- Best for: anyone who wants a full-sized, non-vibrating dilly with hands-free and harness options, and who likes a toy with personality.
- Buy it if: 2.2 inches wide is in your range, you have a smooth surface for the suction cup, and you use water-based lube.
- Skip it if: you're new to insertables (start with the curved Banana Split or the guide), or you want vibration (Velvet Tease).
