Yes — for now. The Pure Romance Pleasure Pod is in stock at VALGINA.com at $89, shipping today in plain packaging. It was a limited edition, and once my remaining stock is gone it is gone for good — I will not be restocking it. It is the palm-sized air-pulse stimulator that lives in its own charging case, the case holds two full charges, and the toy itself is waterproof. If you have been searching for it because it is hard to find elsewhere, this is the page you were looking for — order it here while I still have it.
Pleasure Pod or Pod of Pleasure? They sound alike and they are not the same toy. The Pleasure Pod ($89) is the travel one — 2.7 inches, one air opening, and a charging case that doubles as a discreet hiding place. The Pod of Pleasure ($79) is the at-home one, with four interchangeable heads and no case. If it is going in a carry-on, you want the Pleasure Pod.
I get asked about this toy more than almost anything else in the shop, and the question is almost always some version of "can I still get one?" The answer is yes, for now — it was a limited edition and I am selling through what I have rather than reordering — and I still recommend it, because the Pleasure Pod solves a problem most air-pulse toys do not even try to solve: it travels. No dangling charger, no awkward shape in a suitcase, no dead battery in a hotel room three days into a trip.
What is the Pleasure Pod?
The Pleasure Pod is a Pure Romance airotic stimulator — an external clitoral toy that uses air pressure rather than direct vibration. A pulsating air chamber pushes air past the skin and out of the chamber, creating a light seal over the most sensitive spot and a suction-like sensation many people compare to oral. It never actually touches the way a vibrator does, which is exactly why people who find buzzing toys too intense tend to get along with it.
It is small — 2.7 inches long, 1.3 inches wide, with a 0.4 inch air opening — and it comes in a rechargeable case that holds two additional full charges for the toy. That is the part that makes it different. Most air-pulse toys are the size of a hairbrush and charge off a cord you will forget at home.
The design is deliberately approachable. It looks like an earbud case. Nobody going through your bag is going to think twice about it.
Is the Pleasure Pod still available?
It is in stock at VALGINA.com at $89, and every order ships in plain, unmarked packaging with nothing on the outside that says what is inside. If you searched for it because a big-box or party-plan seller could not get it to you, order it directly from this page — that is the whole point of the shop.
But it is a limited edition. The Pleasure Pod will be permanently discontinued here once my remaining stock is depleted, and I am not reordering it. If it is on your list, this is the time.
It charges over a standard USB-C cord, so nothing about keeping it running is exotic.
What did I love?
The case. Two extra full charges, and the toy charges just by sitting in it with the lid closed. Lights on the case tell you the toy's battery level; press the button on the bottom of the case to check the case's own level. On a week-long trip I never once looked for an outlet.
The air-pulse sensation is the good kind of intense. Three speeds and two patterns is not a huge menu, and it does not need to be. Air-pulse builds differently than vibration — it is a pressure sensation rather than a buzz, so it stays interesting instead of going numb.
It is genuinely beginner-friendly. Small, quiet, one button, nothing about it looks like equipment. If this is a first toy, or a first toy for a partner who is a little unsure, the intimidation factor is close to zero.
It is waterproof. The toy can be submerged up to one meter for up to 30 minutes. The case cannot — keep the case dry and it will be fine.
The battery behaves. Run time is up to one hour on high, up to an hour and a half on low, and the toy charges fully in about an hour. It also shuts itself off after 30 minutes of non-use, which has saved me from a dead toy more than once.
What should you know before buying?
The opening is small. At 0.4 inches, the air opening is sized for pinpoint contact. That is a feature if you like targeted stimulation and a drawback if you prefer broader coverage — in that case the Pod of Pleasure with its four heads is the better pick.
The case is not waterproof. Toy in the shower, case on the counter.
Use a water-based lubricant. Air-pulse toys work by forming a seal, and a little Aqua water-based lubricant ($25) around the opening makes that seal better, not just more comfortable. Water-based only — silicone lube slowly breaks down silicone toys. There is a full breakdown in the lube and toy compatibility chart.
Clean it with a dedicated adult toy cleaner. Rinse with warm water, spray generously with an adult toy cleaner ($20), rinse again and pat dry. Do not use hand soap, dish soap or antibacterial anything — those break down toy surfaces and can throw off vaginal pH. Store it with the opening pointed down so the cavity dries fully.
Store it in something breathable. A Toy Tote ($20) is lined with Bioshield 75 to inhibit bacteria growth, and keeping toys in separate totes stops materials from reacting with each other and discoloring. If discretion is the bigger concern, the Locking Toy Chest ($39, gold or black) is a combination-lock box that looks like decor. For a whole collection, the larger Lockable Adult Toy Chest ($99) is a faux-leather, velvet-lined case with two compartments, a carry handle and a 3-digit combination lock.
How do you use the Pleasure Pod?
Charge it completely before the first use. To turn it on, hold the button for three seconds — a light comes on to show standby mode. Press the button to cycle through the speeds and patterns. Hold for three seconds again to turn it off.
Technique matters more than settings with air pulse. Place the opening over the clitoris rather than pressing it down hard; you want a seal, not pressure. Start on the lowest speed, let it build for a minute before you decide it is not working, and only then move up. Rushing to the top setting is the single most common way people talk themselves out of liking air pulse. If this is your first one, my full air-pulse guide walks through the same technique in more detail.
Pleasure Pod vs. the other air-pulse toys
| Toy | Price | Best for | Key feature | Availability |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pleasure Pod | $89 | Travel and discretion | Charging case holds two full charges | In stock — limited edition, no restock |
| Pod of Pleasure — 4 Heads | $79 | Trying different sensations at home | Four interchangeable heads, air pulse plus vibration | In stock |
| The Best Bud Rose | $39 | A first air-pulse toy on a budget | Rose shape, six color options | In stock |
| The Adventurer | $119 | People who want suction and vibration together | Air pulse plus 10 vibration patterns | In stock |
What's the verdict?
The Pleasure Pod is the air-pulse toy I recommend when someone travels, shares a house, or just wants something that does not announce itself. It is not the most powerful toy in the shop and it is not trying to be — it is the one that is actually charged and actually with you when you want it. And since it is not coming back once it sells out, do not sit on it.
Best for: travelers, beginners, and anyone who wants a toy that hides in plain sight.
Buy it if: the charging case and the small size are the point, and you like targeted air-pulse stimulation.
Skip if: you want broad coverage or vibration along with suction — the Pod of Pleasure or The Adventurer will suit you better.
