Trilux Review (2026): The Tapping Rabbit That Does Four Things at Once

By Valerie Zwiers
Last updated: September 10, 2026

Trilux is an app-enabled rabbit vibrator from Honey Play Box that does four jobs at once: a “kinky finger” that taps the G-spot, a vibrating shaft, a flexible clitoral arm, and a row of graduated anal beads. Ten tapping rhythms, ten vibration patterns, IPX7 waterproof, about an hour of play from a 150-minute charge, and a 1-year warranty. If you have tried thrusting rabbits and found them too much, tapping is the gentler, more targeted alternative — and this is the one I’d start with.

Rabbits have one job — inside and outside at the same time — and most of them do it with brute force: a thick shaft, a stiff ear, and a motor that buzzes everything equally. The Trilux takes a different route. Instead of thrusting, a small hinged finger inside the shaft taps against the front wall, over and over, while the rest of the toy vibrates. It is a different sensation, and for a lot of people it is the one they were actually looking for.

Tapping or thrusting? If you want the feeling of movement inside — an actual in-and-out stroke — you want a thrusting rabbit like Deep Desire. If you want pinpoint pressure on the G-spot without the bulk and the motion, you want the Trilux. Tapping is lighter, quieter to your body, and much easier to keep in one spot. Most people who bounce off thrusters land here.

What is the Trilux?

A dual-motor rabbit with a twist. The shaft is split, and inside the split sits the finger — a rounded, ridged tip on a hinge that flicks forward and back against the G-spot. Around it you get the usual rabbit anatomy: a vibrating shaft, a flexible external arm for the clitoris, and, along the base, a short graduated string of anal beads that add a fourth point of contact. Honey Play Box calls it 4-in-1: G-spot, vaginal, clitoris and anal, plus all-over vibration.

It is 9.8″ long, 1.7″ at its widest and 1.5″ deep, weighs 0.6 lb, and is made from premium silicone with ABS and PA internals. Rated IPX7 for the bath and shower. It charges over USB in about 150 minutes for up to 60 minutes of play, and it pairs to the Honey Play Box app over Bluetooth for solo or partner control. One-year warranty.

What did I love?

The tapping is the point, and it works. Ten rhythms, from a slow deliberate knock to a flutter. It stays where you put it — because nothing is moving the toy, only the finger inside it — so the G-spot contact does not wander the way it does on a thruster.

Every zone is separate. Ten tapping rhythms and ten vibration patterns, mixed however you like. You can run the finger alone with the vibration off, or vibration alone with no tapping, or both. That is a wider range than the modes count suggests.

The beads are optional in practice. They sit at the base and only engage if you angle the toy for them. If backdoor contact is not your thing, you simply will not notice them. If it is, they are there.

Fully waterproof. IPX7 means the bath is fine, and cleaning is a rinse rather than a careful wipe-around.

The app changes how you use it. Hand the phone to a partner and they run the whole thing, or draw your own pattern and save it. If you have never used an app-controlled toy, read this first — there is a right way to set it up.

What should you know before buying?

Tapping is a specific sensation. It is a rhythmic press, not a stroke. People who love it love it. People who want the feeling of penetration in motion will find it too subtle and should look at a thruster instead. Be honest with yourself about which you are.

The split shaft takes a moment. Because the finger sits inside a divided shaft, the toy is shaped differently from a smooth rabbit. Use a generous amount of water-based lube — the directions say generous for a reason — and go slowly the first time.

Water-based lube only. It is silicone. Silicone-based lube will degrade the surface.

Charge before you need it. 150 minutes to full for about an hour of play. It is not a toy you grab on impulse with a dead battery.

Toy cleaner, not soap. The care instructions on this one are explicit: a quality adult toy cleaner and warm water, then pat dry. Antibacterial soaps break down the material and can throw off vaginal pH.

How do you use the Trilux?

  1. Charge it fully with the included USB cable — roughly 150 minutes.
  2. Apply a generous amount of water-based lubricant.
  3. Power on with the button controls, or open the Honey Play Box app and pair it over Bluetooth for remote play.
  4. Start with vibration only, then add the tapping once you are warmed up. Cycle through the 10 rhythms and 10 patterns and mix until you find the combination that works.
  5. Insert the shaft for G-spot contact, position the external arm against the clitoris, and angle the base if you want the anal beads to engage.
  6. Clean after every use with adult toy cleaner and warm water. Pat dry and store somewhere cool and discreet.

Step 4 is my sequencing, not the box’s — the directions just say explore. Starting with vibration alone makes the tapping land better.

Can you use the Trilux with a partner?

Yes, and this is where the app earns its place. Pair the toy to the Honey Play Box app, hand the phone over, and your partner controls the tapping rhythm, the vibration pattern and the intensity without touching the toy at all. Across the room or across the country — the app relays over the internet, so distance is not the limit.

Two things make it work better. Agree on a stop signal before you start — a word, or simply ending the call. And keep your own phone near the toy and online; the app talks to your phone, and your phone talks to the toy, so if your phone wanders off, so does the connection. The onboard buttons still work if the app drops, which is the feature I would check for on any connected toy.

Trilux vs Deep Desire vs Sure Thing vs Standing Ovation

Toy Best for Key feature
Trilux Targeted G-spot pressure Tapping finger, 4 zones, app control
Deep Desire Feeling of movement inside Real thrusting shaft, ultra-soft silicone
Sure Thing Deep thrusting on a budget Magnetic mega thruster
Standing Ovation Classic ergonomic rabbit Swan-shaped, no moving parts

What’s the verdict?

  • Best for: anyone who wants steady, pinpoint G-spot stimulation without a thrusting motion.
  • Buy it if: thrusters felt like too much, you want a partner to be able to drive from a phone, or you want the anal beads as an option rather than a commitment.
  • Skip it if: the sensation you are after is penetration in motion — that is Deep Desire — or you want a plain, no-app rabbit.
