The Opening Act is a cordless silicone bullet vibrator on a curved, ergonomic handle, with 30 speeds and pulsing patterns. It's 6.5" long, submersible to 1 meter for 30 minutes, rechargeable in 1.5 hours for 1.25 to 1.5 hours of runtime, and doubles as a body massager. Formerly sold as Home Alone. It's $99, and it's the bullet I recommend to anyone whose wrist has ever given out before they did.
Opening Act or Petite Powerhouse? Both are handled clitoral toys with a lot of settings. The Opening Act is a bullet-style tip on a curved handle — pinpoint stimulation, fully submersible, 30 functions. The Petite Powerhouse is a mini wand with a broad head and a flexible neck — wider coverage, splash-proof only, $39. Pinpoint and bath: Opening Act. Broad and budget: Petite.
Bullets are the most-owned toy in the world and the most-abandoned, for one reason: holding a two-inch cylinder in exactly the right spot for ten minutes is a wrist workout. The Opening Act fixes that with a handle. Not a wand handle — a curved one, shaped so the bullet lands where you want without your arm bent behind you.
What is the Opening Act?
The Opening Act is a rechargeable silicone bullet vibrator built onto a curved, ergonomic handle. The bullet end is contoured for the clitoris; the handle lets you reach it — and the nipples, testicles, or perineum — without strain. Thirty speeds of vibration and pulsing patterns, two buttons: power and function.
It's 6.5" long and 1.4" wide. It charges on a PureCharge USB Cord B in 1.5 hours for 1.25 hours on high or 1.5 hours on low. It's bath-friendly — submersible up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. It also works as a body massager for tense muscles, which the product page calls out. It used to be sold as Home Alone; same toy, new name. It's in our clitoral vibrators collection.
What did I love?
The handle. Curved so the bullet meets the body at the right angle with your hand resting on your thigh. That's the difference between a toy you use for ten minutes and one you use as long as you want.
Thirty functions. Steady speeds through escalating and pulsing patterns. Enough range that you'll find one you didn't know you liked.
Pinpoint. A bullet tip delivers vibration to one spot. For people who find broad wand heads too diffuse, this is the right shape.
Submersible. Up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. Bath use, and cleaning is a rinse.
It's also a massager. Shoulders, neck, calves. The handle makes it a real one, not a novelty.
Runtime holds. 1.25 to 1.5 hours on a 1.5-hour charge.
What should you know before buying?
Pinpoint means pinpoint. If you prefer wide, rumbly coverage, this isn't that. Look at the Petite Powerhouse or the Magic Wand.
Two buttons, one direction. The function button cycles forward through all 30 modes. Skip your favorite and you go around again.
Charging pin location. The pin goes into the circular indentation on the back, between the CE and DC markings. The light flashes while charging and turns off when full — off, not solid.
Water-based lube. Silicone toy. No silicone lube.
Turn it off when you're done. Standby drains the battery. Press power so the light goes out.
How do you use the Opening Act?
Charge fully before first use with the included USB cord — insert the pin into the circular indentation on the back between the CE and DC markings; the light flashes while charging and turns off when full. Press the power button to turn on (light on, standby). Press the function button to cycle 30 speeds and patterns. Press power to turn off. Wash before and after each use with a toy-safe cleaner.
Opening Act vs Petite Powerhouse vs Magic Wand Original vs Seductive Secret
Four handled or hand-held clitoral vibrators, four different shapes:
| Product | Price | Best for | Key feature | Availability |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Opening Act | $99 | Pinpoint stimulation with reach; bath use | 30 functions, curved handle, submersible | In stock |
| Petite Powerhouse | $39 | Broad coverage on a budget | 20 functions × 7 intensity levels, flexible neck, splash-proof | In stock |
| Magic Wand Original | $69 | Maximum rumbly power, plug-in | Corded, two speeds, broad head | In stock |
| Seductive Secret | $77 | Palm-sized travel bullet | 3 speeds + 7 patterns, finger grip | In stock |
What's the verdict?
The Opening Act is what a bullet should have been all along: same pinpoint tip, plus a handle so you can actually use it. Thirty functions and a bath rating on top. If you've bought and abandoned a bullet before, this is the one that stays in rotation.
Best for: pinpoint-stimulation fans, anyone with wrist or reach limitations, bath use, people who want a toy that's also a real muscle massager.
Buy it if: you want a bullet with reach and 30 settings.
Skip if: you want a broad head or rumbly wand power — Petite Powerhouse or Magic Wand.
