For You or For Two? For You (hers) and For You (his) are built around one person's body. For Two (couples) leans toward things you use together. Buying it as a gift for a bride or a birthday? Hers. Buying it for your own nightstand and you share it? Couples.
Twice a year I go to the industry conference, walk the floor for three days, and come home with more new products than I could ever test alone. So I need help. What is the Mystery Box?
The Product Tester Mystery Box is exactly what it sounds like: a curated surprise box of products I've just brought back from the conference in Nashville, where I go to find new, fun things for the boutique. I can't try them all, so I'm asking you to.
The rules, in my words from the product page: these are mystery boxes. You get what you get and you don't throw a fit. No extreme or fetish items, so they appeal to the masses.
The hints I'm allowed to give:
- Select Hers, His, or Couples at the top of the product page so the box fits the right person.
- Each $59 box is valued at approximately $139.
- Every box has at least one toy plus two or more other small goodies.

One rule worth reading twice: coupons, credits, loyalty points, and codes are not eligible on these boxes because the discount is already built in.
What it isn't: it isn't customizable, it isn't returnable for "I didn't like the color," and it isn't a clearance bin. It's new product I want your opinion on.
What did I love?
The math. $59 for up to $139 of product is a discount I can't run on individual items. That's the whole reason to buy one.
There's always a toy. A lot of mystery boxes are three lip balms and a candle. Mine guarantee at least one toy, and the other goodies are the things I'd put in a bachelorette bag: something to wear, something to taste, something to try.
Hers, His, Couples. Picking a lane is what makes a mystery box work. A box packed for a man doesn't end up with a woman, and a couples box doesn't end up with someone single.
It's a genuinely good gift. Bride, bachelorette, birthday, anniversary, white elephant. The surprise is the present, and the value means it looks far more generous than $59.
The review reward. Post a photo of what you got and I send you $10 toward the next order. It's how I find out what worked, and you get paid for the feedback.
What should you know before buying?
You don't get to choose. If a surprise would frustrate you, buy the products individually. The mystery is the deal; it's not a bug.
No codes. Coupons, credits, loyalty points, and codes are not eligible on these boxes. Please and thank you.
The contents change. Every batch is whatever came home from the latest trip. The box you get in March isn't the box someone got in November, and I don't publish contents lists because that would spoil it for the next person.
Not for the extreme end. Nothing fetish, nothing extreme. If that's your lane, shop it directly.
Everything ships discreetly. Plain outer packaging, like every order.
Shopping the rest of the nightstand?
