Bosom Buddy is a flavor-infused nipple and lip balm from Pure Romance. A thin layer creates a pleasurable tingle for the wearer and a silky, kissable, flavored surface for the partner, with shea butter to moisturize. It's a 0.35 oz stick, made in the USA, and comes in Pina Colada, Dragon Fruit, and Sweet Melon. It's the simplest foreplay product we sell.
Which flavor? Three to pick from. Pina Colada tastes like tropical coconut with a touch of pineapple — the one this review is built on and the one I'd start with. Dragon Fruit is the same balm, different fruit. Sweet Melon rounds out the trio. Same tingle in all three; pick by taste.
Nipple play is the most skipped erogenous zone in the room, mostly because nobody knows what to do beyond the obvious. This balm gives both of you a reason. You feel a tingle. They taste pina colada. Everything that follows is more interesting than it was ten seconds earlier.
What is Bosom Buddy?
Bosom Buddy is a twist-up balm — 0.35 oz / 10 g — made to go on nipples or lips. The formula carries menthol for the tingle and a blend of sunflower, safflower, coconut and jojoba oils with beeswax and shea butter for the moisturizing, kissable finish. The flavor is what your partner tastes; the tingle is what you feel. Pina Colada tastes like tropical coconuts and a touch of pineapple.
Directions are one line: apply a thin layer to the desired area, external use only. Store at room temperature. Made in the USA, not tested on animals. It's in our nipple play and foreplay & massage collections, and it's the product I point to in our flavored nipple balm guide.
What did I love?
It works on both people at once. The wearer gets a tingle. The partner gets flavor and a silky surface. One product, two payoffs.
The tingle is noticeable, not aggressive. Menthol in a balm base, so it builds instead of stinging. If you've been burned by a strong arousal gel, this is gentler.
Shea butter. It's a real moisturizing balm. Nipples and lips are both better off after than before.
Lips too. Put it on your own lips before kissing and the tingle transfers. Not a gimmick.
Travel-sized and innocent. It's a lip balm. It lives in a pocket or a purse.
Pina Colada tastes like it should. Coconut, then pineapple. Not medicinal.
What should you know before buying?
External use only. Nipples, lips, and skin. It's not a lubricant and it's not for internal use.
Thin layer. The directions say thin for a reason. A thick coat is waxier, not tinglier.
Check the ingredients if you have allergies. It contains coconut oil, beeswax, sunflower and safflower seed oils, shea butter, and menthol, among others. The full list is on the product page.
The label warning, verbatim: Do not use if quality seal is loose, broken, or missing. For external use only. Avoid eye area. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Keep out of reach of children. Intended for adult use only. Do not use if you have a known hypersensitivity (allergy) to any of the ingredients.
Packaging may vary. Same balm inside.
How do you use Bosom Buddy?
Twist up, apply a thin layer to the nipples or lips, and give it a moment. The tingle starts for the wearer; the flavor is there for the partner. Add warm breath or a nipple sucker to build the sensation. Wipe off with a warm cloth when you're done.
Bosom Buddy flavors and what to pair them with
Three flavors of the same balm, plus the two nipple-play products I pair it with most:
| Product | Best for | Key feature |
|---|---|---|
| Bosom Buddy — Pina Colada | First flavor to try; coconut-pineapple | Tingling balm, shea butter, 0.35 oz |
| Bosom Buddy — Dragon Fruit | Fruit-forward alternative | Same tingling balm formula |
| Bosom Buddy — Sweet Melon | Melon lovers | Same tingling balm formula |
| Peaches Silicone Nip Suckers | Adding suction on top of the tingle | Squeeze-and-release silicone suction cups |
| O Vanilla Frosting | A stronger flavored tingle for oral play | Most intense enhancement cream, menthol, vanilla flavor |
What's the verdict?
Bosom Buddy is a small balm that turns a skipped step into a whole one. Tingle for you, flavor for them, moisture for both. Start with Pina Colada.
Best for: couples adding nipple play, foreplay beginners, anyone who wants a discreet product that lives in a purse.
Buy it if: you want a gentle tingle plus flavor in one stick.
Skip if: you want a strong arousal gel — that's O Vanilla Frosting or Euforia Pleasure Serum.
